    New possibilities open up for photographers, but especially for filmmakers. Carl Zeiss AG has introduced the second generation of its Compact Prime lens series, the CP.2. Originating from the world of cinema lenses, the series initially consists of seven fixed focal lengths ranging from 18 to 85 millimeters. These lenses can be quickly attached to full-frame cameras from Canon and Nikon, as well as to the Arri PL mount widely used in professional analog and digital film cameras, via an interchangeable mount.
